Our Purpose
Our Mission
'Youdemonia' comes from the Greek translation of 'wellness' [eudemonia]. At Youdemonia, we are committed and passionate about providing everyone to support and success, regardless of social and financial class. Since our beginnings in early 2020, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our organization upon: support, empowerment, and progress. Ultimately, as a Michigan nonprofit, we hope to fight against social disparities and bridge the gap between social classes by empowerment and educating our local community.
About Us
Despite decades of technological advancements and economic plans geared towards the uplifting and empowerment of the lower class, millions continue to suffer from lack of support and resource. Specifically, after the COVID-19 pandemic, social disparities in healthcare, education, and wealth became much more prevalent.
Youdemonia is a fully student run Nonprofit-Organization based in Southeast Michigan. At Youdemonia, we see the value in everyone and we want to be a catalyst for positive change. With these foundations in mind, we address social disparities in our local community by organizing events and workshops. Our mission is to empower those of from lower economic backgrounds and to provide them a stepping-stone for success.
