Youdemonia x St. Vincent de Paul Fundraiser

On September 17, 2023, the Youdemonia team and members of the Life Teen Group arrived at the Our Lady of Victory Parish (OLV) to host a bake sale fundraiser to support the OLV St. Vincent de Paul Charity Ministry. The local community came together, ultimately raising $1,696.26, which will be used to help members of the community with their rent, utilities, and other related expenses.

Our team was also given an opportunity to sit down with the leaders of OLV's St. Vincent de Paul, where we learned more about the logistics behind their operations and the impact they have made since their founding in 2015.

A few weeks later, our team joined the Our Lady of Good Counsel's Ministry to raise an additional $594.56 which will go directly to assisting those in need in the local community.

St. Vincent de Paul Donation Total: $2290.82

Youdemonia x University of Chicago | Student Admissions Symposium

In late October of this year, Youdemonia partnered with The University of Chicago to offer a free Student Admissions Symposium, a place for students to learn more about the admissions process and gain access to a network of like-minded students.  Keynote speaker Ms. Sydney Jones, an admissions officer from The University of Chicago, went in-depth about essay writing and the process admissions officers go through as they assess an application. After working through a case study application with the audience, the meeting was opened up to an audience-led Q&A session where listeners could get their individual questions answered. We had a great turnout with over 140 attendees from 50+ schools all over the country!

Halloween Trunk Or Treat

Happy Halloween! In 2022, our team was able to help Mayor Bill Bazzi of Dearborn Heights with his annual Trunk Or Treat Event! The Youdemonia team met with community leaders to discuss the city's future. After a fun night of handing out candy and meeting members of the community, we were able to voice potential areas of concern and establish relations with the City of Dearborn Heights!

In 2021 Youdemonia started its second Social Media Campaign in an effort to increase awareness around social disparities. Since then, the Youdemonia Instagram page has been viewed over 5,000 times and reached a network of people spanning the globe. Every week, a new post relating to a different social disparity is released, providing facts and real testimonies in an effort to get the truth out.

Posts were segmented into a four week schedule:

Did You Know?:  A post dedicated towards familiarizing viewers with a social disparity, often briefly covering what it is and its various implications

News Weekly: A post geared towards sharing a personal experience stemming from the disparity, sharing the first-hand effects of problems such as the Flint Water Crisis

Youdemonia x Future For Medicine | Social Media Campaign

In March 2020, Nathan George (Founder and CEO of Youdemonia) created Future For Medicine (Future 4 Med), a sister organization dedicated to educating students and parents about various medical professions in hopes of inspiring someone to study Medicine in the future. While first starting on Instagram, Future For Medicine expanded its reach to Twitter, Tumblr, and Youtube, amassing over 1,000 followers and 5,000 interactions across all platforms.

Under the social media team's guidance, posts are organized into four posts scheduled in two-week intervals.

1. Miscellaneous Mondays: dedicated to exploring various medical-related topics and shedding awareness of current      issues.

2. Wednesday branches: designed to cover one branch of Medicine (ex. Neurology) and provided general                insights into the field, top jobs, and programs, as well as insights from real professionals.

3. Sunday Spotlight: made to provide in-depth coverage of the fields inside the chosen branch; these posts          covered the most common jobs as well as the education, salary, necessary experience, and insights associated with      them.

4. Fun Fact Fridays: meant to provide brief facts within the chosen branch for that interval.

With this four-post schedule, the Future For Medicine team collaborated with Nonprofit Organizations such as The Invisibles and reached an international audience across all age groups. Through Instagram Takeovers, dedicated posts where other nonprofit leaders were able to talk more about their organizations and share information about their causes, our team was also able to foster a network of 20+ organizations dedicated to expanding resources and educating youth.

Future For Medicine also welcomed medical professionals to talk more about their experiences and provide insights into their professions and backgrounds on a weekly Instagram Live series called Back To The Basics, where viewers could interact directly with the keynote speaker and ask questions.

In addition to social media content, the Future For Medicine team hosted a virtual fundraiser for Project Hope in September 2020, with proceeds dedicated to COVID-19 relief efforts.
